How To Make Doing Pilates At Home Exciting

So, I've recently become a Pilates girlie, but in my living room... watching YouTube. As much as I'd love to go to a class, I already get up at 5 AM and there truly is no extra time for a 30-minute daily commute. Doing it at home was the perfect solution. At first, I struggled to be consistent, but then lightbulb! I started getting things that helped me incorporate Pilates into my daily routine, and now I'm on week 8!

Cute Workout Outfits
Even for working out at home, having a cute outfit is a motivator to actually get it done.

 

Comfortable Yoga Mat
A comfortable yoga mat has changed the game. I didn’t want to invest in one, but when I did, it felt like I was really creating an environment that pushed me to want to do Pilates. Seeing it was also a reminder before bed.

 

Weights
There are days when I still want to keep going after Pilates, so I’ve gotten into strength training and use low weights for that.

 

A Good After-Workout Reward
I love to give myself a good self-care moment and rewatch a rom-com I’ve already seen a million times.
